Ionel & Liia Smith Rocks State Park
Hey! Welcome back! Todays post will be the first part of 3 because I got the honor to photograph Ionel & Liias engagement photos (this post) and then their wedding and their 2nd day shoot. And let me tell you how awesome their photos turned out! I love this couple because of their adventurous spirit.
When we first planned their engagement shoot, we wanted to go to the popular government cove island in Hood River, Oregon. It had rained all week and we weren’t sure if we would be able to shoot there, so when the day finally came and the sun was out and shining we were so excited. However, when we got there, it was super windy and so freezing cold. We got out just for a few moments and captured these photos, but decided to reschedule for another day anyways. Here’s what we got from the 20 minute session we had at government cove.
We decided to reschedule the engagement shoot for another day at Smith Rocks State Park a week later and I wanted to share these photos as well because they turned out to be some of my favorite photos. We took these photos close to sunset and had enough time to do 2 outfits. Personally, I love photographing at Smith Rocks because of all the beautiful colors all around. Let me know what you think!
